The Northern Great Plains Oncology Network is a network of cancer centers and organizations gathered to address the unique aspects of cancer in the Northern Great Plains. This project is led by the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, which is an National Cancer Institute designated cancer center, and the Avera Cancer Institute.
The goals of this network are to ultimately develop a national cancer resource and database to impact and influence diagnosis and treatment, and identify therapies which are specific and customized for each patient for personalized treatment and improved survival.
